Religious Society of Friends (Quakers)
participate in a
March for Peace

On Saturday March 18th 2006, we joined others including
Florida for Peace ( http://floridaforpeace.blogspot.com )
and the Florida Coalition for Peace & Justice
at the Sarasota War Memorial at the intersection of
US 41 and Main Street. We marched up Ringling Blvd.,
along US 301 to Rep. Katherine Harris' office
and then down Main Street through downtown Sarasota
and back to the War Memorial.

In the tradition of openness and freedom of speech, speakers at the
Meetinghouse express their own opinions, which may or may not be in keeping with the tradition and thinking of The Religious Society of Friends.
